Happy 4th!

Seems like a lot of families are traveling locally for the long weekend. If you're in town, lucky you! There are tons of good events both as part of the July 4th Harborfest and separately.

We've just spent the week with my inlaws at Mashpee on the cape. They've had the timeshare for 30+ years. Thanks to Google Photos, we found we've been coming for the last 5 years, since we had kids. It's a bit small for our extended family of 10. And most of the parents have to work, either remotely or traveling back/forth. Still, it's a fun time every year, and a lot of happy memories. My daughter just learned how to swim this week, and her cousin the summer before. For the kids, it's a lot of digging, exploring, biking, and just hanging out with their grandparents and cousins. This year we discovered the Shining Sea Bikeway from Falmouth all the way down to Woods Hole, great for kids, and the Wood Neck Beach good for watching all kinds of creatures (well before they require sticker for the summer. ;-)

Hope you're enjoying the start of summer too! Let's update each other on summer camps next week. :)
