About last week's date night idea: Gin Daisy with MLK's own Jasmine Moran was amazing! They perform next on Sunday Feb 12 at the Plough and Stars in Cambridge at 4:30pm. Don't miss it. And hey, you may not even need a babysitter. :)

  2. BSO's MLK day concert - BSO at Faneuil Hall - Celebrate with classical music, spirituals, and freedom songs.

  3. Free MFA MLK Day Openhouse - Enjoy free admission all day Monday! Bring the kids for art-making activities. There are also musical performances throughout the day, and much more!

  4. Japanese New Year Festival - on Sunday 11am-4pm at the Boston Children's museum. Celebrate the New Year with AIKO drums, the SHISHIMAI lion dance, MOCHI rice pounding, and more!

  6. MLK Day of Service with Boston Cares - if you missed signing up, still can sign up for other volunteer with kids (5 years old and above) events in the future on the Boston Cares site.

  7. Bonus date night idea: Don White with our Christina at Club Passim Saturday 1/14 night (47 Palmer St Harvard Square)

MLK mom Christina will sing backup with Don White. Don is an incredible songwriter and a hilarious storyteller/writer whose songs and stories get to the heart of parenting and family relationship.
